December 12, 201510 yr comment_3452 Coating new truck frames so they do not rust is a very common application for our products. The Frame Coater Kit or the Large Frame Coater Kit are ideal for a truck where the frame does not see sunlight on a new truck or a frame off restoration. The All-In-One Kit is ideal for a truck where the frame does see sunlight on a new truck or a frame off restoration. The process is fairly simply: Clean the surface with KBS Klean, etch the surface with RustBlast, then paint 2 coats of RustSeal. If the frame will be exposed to sunlight, then you will topcoat with BlackTop. If the frame will not see sunlight, you will leave the RustSeal as your finish coat.
