What is the best way to prep galvanized metal before applying Rust Seal so it sticks. KBS Coatings Posted December 11, 2015 Report Share Posted December 11, 2015 Yes, RustSeal will adhere very well to galvanized steel axles. You will want to prep the galvanized with KBS Klean and RustBlast and then apply a minimum of 2 coats of RustSeal.
