November 3, 201510 yr comment_3367 I bought a new gas tank. It's dry and clean, came that way. Do I need the 3 part system or can I buy just the sealer? November 3, 201510 yr comment_3369 New tanks are extremely slick and come coating in oils providing a difficult surface for Tank Sealer to stick to if you do not prep. So, we absolutely recommend prepping a brand new tank. Clean with the KBS Klean, etch well with the RustBlast, and then seal it up with the Tank Sealer.
