August 28, 201510 yr comment_3272 I want to coat a trailer that used to be white. It has some paint still on it and many spots. What is the process for coating the entire trailer and making it white? August 28, 201510 yr comment_3273 This is a great question. Our products are used all of the time to coat and preserve trailers. The first thing you will want to do is wire wheel the trailer to remove any flaking paint or rust and scuff up the existing paint. After that, clean the entire trailer with KBS Klean. Then, etch the rusty spots with RustBlast. Then apply 2 coats of RustSeal (Off-White) to the entire trailer followed by a coat or 2 of the KBS MAXX in Arctic White. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
