July 24, 201510 yr comment_3223 I'm looking to seal the inside of a differential housing that had a hole in it I had to weld up. Theoretically, the weld should be fluid tight, but I'd rather just be certain. Can I use Rust Seal for that? It would be continuous exposure to the diff fluid, obviously. July 24, 201510 yr comment_3224 Yes, you can use RustSeal for your differential housing as RustSeal will withstand differential fluid. You will want to clean the surface with KBS Klean and then etch the surface with RustBlast. After you have done that, apply 2-3 thin, covering coats of RustSeal. Please check out the complete directions for RustSeal application. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
