Bounce
My husband has 2 into 1 exhaust pipes on his bike. He's having trouble finding paint that can stand the heat at the juncture. He has recently had it professionally ceramic coated but they only had black and he really wants red. It looks like your Rocket Red is exactly the color he's looking for. Would it be a problem to ulusevthe red on the pipes, given the situation? I'm not sure if they are aluminum or steel and I really want to surprise him so I don't want to ask him unless necessary. KBS Coatings
For applications like this that will be exposed to the elements, you will want to apply 1-2 coats of XTC Primer after you have white blasted the exhaust pipes and then 1-2 coats of the XTC in Rocket Red. The XTC and XTC Primer should have no trouble with the heat of the exhaust pipes. Please be sure to read the XTC Primer Directions and the XTC Directions. We would love to know if this helped you and if you have any additional questions. Thanks for choosing KBS Coatings.
