StanW Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 I've been using Diamond Clear as a finish coat for my fishing lures. I just dip and hang. Love it!!! How does this Maxx product compare and would it be a better option for my use? Thanks Quote
KBS Coatings Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 KBS MAXX Clear is a 2K paint (has clear base and hardener/activator). It is designed to be sprayed versus brushing or rolling. We have not done extensive testing as far as dipping, but it would seem that the DiamondFinish Clear would flow out better for a dipping application. That said, KBS MAXX Clear is incredibly durable and performs very well in a marine environment. We do have several customers who use an airbrush to spray it on small pieces such as fishing lures. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions. Quote
