June 17, 201510 yr comment_3180 You can thin DiamondFinish Clear with acetone, but acetone flashes off very quickly making it not the ideal reducer, so we always recommend KBS #1 Thinner, which is a slower evaporating solvent blend. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions. February 28, 20224 yr comment_5437 When spraying, thin/reduce DiamondFinish Clear with KBS #1 Thinner or Xylene ONLY and 10%-15% is normally adequate. DiamondFinish Clear can be thinned up to 30%. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions. I’d like to know how much thinner would be needed for 32 ounce of diamond finish clear? Please reduce or thin with KBS #1 Thinner or Xylene only.
