Coating Boat Trailer

That is a great question and a very common application for our products.

You will want to wire wheel the surface down to remove any old paint and flaky rust. After that, clean the surface really well with the KBS Klean to get rid of all of the dirt and grime. Next, you will want to etch the bare metal areas with RustBlast and then apply 2 thin, covering coats of RustSeal. Finally, apply your solid color top coat paint like our BlackTop or KBS MAXX.
