February 27, 201511 yr comment_3131 We have a mustang that we race with BP116 race fuel. I have welded on a sump to the tank to accept some AN fittings. Now looking into the tank I can see the welds are starting to rust and we can't risk having that crud go through the lines . The filters are doing a great job so far but we don't want to chance it. It seems that most coatings on the market can't be used with race fuels. What is the general consensus as to what fuels can be used with this? Any good/bad experiences? thanks...New to the site. March 3, 201511 yr comment_3133 Several of our customers and race teams seal up their fuel tanks using the KBS 3-Step Tank Sealing System. The Tank Sealer is impervious to the high octane alcohol blended race fuels. We have several convenient Tank Sealer Kits and you can determine which you need for your tank using This Chart. Please let us know if this helps and if you have any additional questions. Thank you for choosing KBS Coatings!
