Rustblast before painting aluminum engine parts?

I am repainting the aluminum cylinders and heads of a Ducati and was wondering if it makes sense to use Rustblast before applying Motor Coater. I plan on using KBS Klean.

The RustBlast is an excellent pre-paint acid etch primer, so it would be a great idea to use it on your aluminum parts so that you have a nicely etched surface before the Motor Coater is applied.
