I own three HVLP gravity feed spray guns, and each one has a different fluid tip. I have 1.4mm, 1.7mm, and 2.0mm. KBS Coatings Posted July 17, 2014 Report Share Posted July 17, 2014 It is best to use your 1.4mm tip. Always use a NIOSH/MSHA approved air supplied respirator. Spray pressure of 35-45 psi (250-330kpa) for siphon/pot guns 25-35psi (170-250kpa) for gravity/top container guns. Thin 5-10% as required. Use only KBS #1 Thinner.
