March 8, 201412 yr comment_2956 I am trying out Diamond Clear finish for clearcoating custom pool cues and I am brushing it on and slowly rotating it in a small booth to cure. The first coat, on bare wood, took about 7 hours to dry to the touch. I then re-coated it and 7 hours later it's still sticky. Up here in New England it's only about 18% humidity right now. I heat the booth to about 75 degrees constant. Is this normal in low humidity conditions? What can I do to speed this up? March 10, 201412 yr comment_2959 The DiamondFinish Clear is a moisture cured urethane, so dry conditions will lengthen the cure time. Do you have any way to introduce some moisture to the area? For instance, many of our customers who need a quicker cure time and who work in their garage will wet the garage floor with water to increase the humidity in the room. Please let us know if that helps and if you have additional questions.
