Lopi Brass Door

I have a Lopi Woodstove with a brass trimmed glass door. I clean the brass with Barkeepers Friend (oxalic acid) but the shiny clearcoat is non existent now. Can I use your Heat resistant clear coat to creat a glossy brass surface? Melanie
