September 5, 201312 yr comment_2874 The tank of my motorcycle (1973 Yamaha RD 250B) has been repainted by a professional shop and pinstriped, also by an expensive professional. Will any of the procedures or chemicals used to overcome the tank's rusty interior damage its external finish? I imagine this question has been asked before but I couldn't find a way to search this forum for a specific topic. I apologize if this is redundant. September 5, 201312 yr comment_2875 This is a very common question. The KBS Klean and RustBlast should not touch your the cured coating on the outside of your tank. The Tank Sealer is a coating, so be careful, take your time, and do not get any of the Tank Sealer on the outside of your tank. Be sure to mask off and just take your time. If you do that, you will not have any problems at all. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
