August 11, 201312 yr comment_2823 Mostly dry, but fingerprints are visible. I sprayed with minimal thinner - less then 10%. I used DuPont lacquer thinner as the supply house said it would be fine. I have the parts hanging in the sun.nit is 85 degrees and 60% humidity. August 11, 201312 yr comment_2824 We do not recommend lacquer thinner for spraying BlackTop ... only for clean up, so it is hard to tell how the BlackTop will cure for you. Let the BlackTop cure for 24 hours and check it again. Feel free to check out the BlackTop directions. Please let us know how the BlackTop has cured after 24 hours. August 12, 201312 yr Author comment_2825 It is about 22 hours and much better. It feels dry, but I can tell it needs a bit more time. I will pick up some KBS thinner. Thanks for the feedback. August 12, 201312 yr Author comment_2826 30 hours and not completely dry. I guess the solvent will evaporate eventually. Ant idea if I can wait this out? Or do I have to strip an repainy? August 12, 201312 yr Author comment_2827 Will this eventually get hard? Will anything help it cure? September 3, 201312 yr comment_2872 It should be fully cured at 48 hours if it was not applied too thick. September 3, 201312 yr Author comment_2873 It was not. After 2 weeks and still slightly tacky, I top coated with some black enamel and all is well for now. Worse case, I will repaint the few suspension components later. You really should have a better warning on the label. I know it is my fault, but if you say to thin with your thinner and clean up with lacquer thinner, it is not hard to conclude that lacquer thinner will also thin the product. I did get the proper thinner and spray my frame using that, and it dried in normal time.
