June 30, 201312 yr comment_2790 having the rear frame of my 2006 sierra sand blasted. what products should i use on it? also for the front of the truck under the cab is pretty bad but isn't getting blasted, what products should i use on that? the problem is the calcium chloride or whatever road salt has eaten away the metal and the oem paint and coatings on everything from the chassis to the parking brake cable brackets has flaked off. July 11, 201312 yr comment_2797 For the sand blasted areas, wipe the surface clean with KBS Klean and then apply a minimum of 2 coats of RustSeal. For the other areas, wire wheel down the surface to get rid of loose paint and rust. Then clean with KBS Klean. Etch the surface with RustBlast. Then apply a minimum of 2 coats of RustSeal. Also, be sure to check out the complete RustSeal Directions Here. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
