March 25, 201313 yr comment_2692 Bought 4L can of rustseal, not realising it does such a damn good job of coverage J So have 3L left that probably wont get used again for at least a year or so. I know it states to store left over rustseal in a tin or glass bottle, but was wondering whether it would be also OK to store in ( dry) PET bottles? ie plastic coke bottles, as that way can squeeze all excess air out of bottle to maximise the life of remainder hopefully... March 25, 201313 yr comment_2693 It would be best to store the RustSeal in metal cans or in glass containers. The solvents in the RustSeal could attack your plastic container over a period of time.
