March 10, 201313 yr comment_2669 Do you have a product that would be suitable for coating the bottom of an aluminum boat to stop small leaks. If so what product would you recommend, how much would be required to coat the bottom of a 16 ft aluminum fishing boat and is the product available in Canada. March 11, 201313 yr comment_2672 The RustSeal works really well to seal up aluminum boats. Â Make sure you use all three steps - KBS Klean, RustBlast and RustSeal. Â It would be best to get 3 coats of RustSeal on the bottom of the boat as this is a marine application. Because the RustSeal will discolor with consistent exposure to UV rays, you will want to top coat the RustSeal with a UV stable solid color top coat like the DiamondFinish Top Coat or the BlackTop. As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
