DiamondFinish Clear Over Other Paints

Can you use the diamond clear over any paint?  It is going to be for the trunk of a 71 Monte Carlo. I wanted to keep the stock spatter look but wanted to have the durability.

Yes, you can clear coat over your existing paint with our DiamondFinish Clear.  Clean the surface well with KBS Klean and if the existing paint is glossy, scuff it lightly with 300 grit paper so the DiamondFinish Clear gets excellent adhesion.
