I used silver rustseal to paint an Axle housing on my mg midget, i had intended to paint with blacktop as recommended by yourselves but it has now been sitting for over a month! What prep do i now need to do so the blacktop will adhear to the rustseal? KBS Coatings Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 If the RustSeal is fully cured, just make sure you clean the cured RustSeal with KBS Klean, scuff the RustSeal with 300 grit and apply the BlackTop.
