gringo
Do you have a topcoat that is recommended for the exterior of motorcycle tanks. I’m specifically looking for something that has some protection from fuel spillage and UV, that is shiny like a normal paint (acrylic or 2 pack finish). Some of your products are fuel resistant, could you elaborate on what this means? If I spill fuel while filling up do i just need to wash it with water immediately to avoid damage? Alternatively can I just use any brand paint (black) and then cover it with Diamond Clear? Thanks! KBS Coatings
BlackTop will work for your application as BlackTop is resistant to fuels. A casual splash of fuel will not damage the coating. You can also apply DiamondFinish Clear Coat over another coating to achieve the same resistance to fuels. You can find BlackTop directions here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/blacktop-directions.html You can find DiamondFinish Clear directions here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/diamondfinish-clearcoat-info.html Quote Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/1525-what-can-i-use-for-the-exterior-of-a-motorcycle-tank/#findComment-2576 Share on other sites
