December 15, 201114 yr comment_2138 I have an 8oz can of silver color RustSeal. I stirred for half an hour and could not get a consistent solution in the can. No matter how I stirred it, I could not get rid of the dark streaks of ? in the paint- the part that is in the top of the can when you first open it you know. Is this just a characteristic of silver paint? December 15, 201114 yr comment_2519 Because it is a metallic pigment, you could see some darker streaks when you stir. As long as you stir the RustSeal thoroughly for several minutes to obtain an even mixture, you are good to start applying the RustSeal. December 15, 201114 yr Author comment_2520 Thanks, I'll continue with the application tomorrow. Its on the inside bottom of a door jamb, so it wont be readily seen, and I am only able to brush it on.
