October 19, 201114 yr comment_2127 Can Bloxygen be used to slow down curing of DiamondFinish ClearCoat left in the can? I would like to pour out a working amount, then spray some Bloxygen in the can as I place the lid back on the can? I will use plastic in between the lid and the can to prevent the lid from sticking. October 19, 201114 yr comment_2501 Yes, we have many customers who use Bloxygen to prolong the shelf life of an opened can of DiamondFinish Clear Coat and also of our other coatings like RustSeal, BlackTop, Motor Coater, etc. Bloxygen contains a gas that is heavy and sits right on top of the paint in the can to help slow the curing process in the can.
