KBS Coatings Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 If the RustSeal has completely cured (24 hours or more), you have 2 ways to apply a coating over cured RustSeal: 1) Clean the cured RustSeal with AquaKlean, apply a dusting coat of Fusion Self-Etch Primer, then apply your filler. 2) Clean the cured RustSeal with AquaKlean, scuff up the RustSeal with 300 grit, then apply your filler.
