June 20, 201114 yr comment_2102 The color I would like to use for my entire engine is Flame Blue which is not an engine choice but it is a high temperature paint for exhaust manifolds. Q. Can I use Hi-Temp Flame Blue on the engine in lieu of Motor Coater engine paint? June 20, 201114 yr comment_2466 Painting your engine in Flame Blue Hi-Temp should work for you as long as you can do the appropriate temperature cure which allows the paint to get to its most durable state. I would recommend using the Hi-Temp Zinc Primer (http://www.kbs-coatings.com/hi-temp-primer.html) first. And also make sure you do the Temperature Curing as described in our directions for Hi-Temp (http://www.kbs-coatings.com/hi-temp.html) You can find Hi-Temp Directions here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/hi-temp-info.html Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/1471-hi-temp-flame-blue-as-engine-paint/#findComment-2466 Share on other sites Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
