April 24, 201115 yr comment_2447 We recommend top coatings the RustSeal with an opaque top coat if the RustSeal will be consistently exposed to sunlight. We do not recommend clear coating over the RustSeal if it will be consistently exposed to sunlight because the sunlight will still cause problems with the RustSeal and over time, we have seen the DiamondFinish actually delaminate from the RustSeal IF it has been consistently exposed to sunlight.
