November 28, 201015 yr comment_2080 I have a car with a wing that has rust bubbling. I think once the paint is stripped I may be left with a small hole or a few small holes, Am I correct in thinking that if I clean, strip the area back to clean/sound metal I can apply Aqua Klean and then once dry, apply rust blast over and into any rusted through holes and letting it soak for 30 minutes and then rinse and dry. Then is this ready to apply fibre glass from behind to seal up the holes and sand flat, then apply bondo/filler. Once cured I can apply 2k Primer and then topcoat with base and clear?? Do I need to use rust seal or zinc primer inbetween any of this?? November 28, 201015 yr comment_2422 After the RustBlast step, you will will want to apply 2 coats of RustSeal. Apply your bondo/body filler to the RustSeal 4-12 hours (finger drag) after the second coat of RustSeal. After the bondo/body filler is cured and sanded, you can apply 2k primer, etc. Let us know if that clears up the process for you.
