September 14, 201015 yr comment_2065 I have a front suspension crossmember I'm restoring and I only sandblasted the worst areas of it. So now its bare metal in some places and still rusty in others. Should I only spray the AquaKlean and RustBlast on the rusty areas, or should I do the whole thing for the sake of uniformity? September 15, 201015 yr comment_2382 It would be best to do the whole thing just to make sure the whole area is cleaned and etched before apply the RustSeal. You can find complete instructions for RustSeal here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/RustSeal-Information-and-Instructions_ep_38-1.html You can also find the Fix-It Guide which will help you quickly identify the causes of and the recommended solutions for the most common issues that could occur with RustSeal here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/fix-it-guide-rustseal.html You can also find Instructional Videos here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-Videos_ep_90-1.html You can also find a Flow Chart for using the KBS 3 Step System here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Flow-Chart--RustSeal-on-Steel_ep_87-1.html Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/1434-how-should-i-seal-semi-sandblasted-parts/#findComment-2382 Share on other sites Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
