royluck
Hi I have an area inside the top of the tank that got missed with the sealer, if I use another kit & some sealer goes over the old, will it be OK? WelchTrer
KBS Coatings
The Gold Standard Tank Sealer does not stick to itself very well. How do you know you missed the area?
royluck
I cut a square 'access panel' in the top of the tank, so I could remove the sealer that some PO had used, it was some sort of epoxy & an inch thick in the bottom corners of the tank, I cleaned & repaired the tank & used your product, then soldered the 'panel' back in place, but that joint didn't get sealed & fuel fumes found their way out & ruined the paint. I would like to seal that area before repainting. Thanks.
royluck
Do you think I could go through the cleaning process again & using a new kit, seal the parts that were missed? Thanks, Roy.
KBS Coatings
Yes. If there are holes, patch them with the NuMetal Expoxy Putty first before you do the KBS 3 Step System on the inside of the tank.
