I have a 1996 water cooled Honda shadow sabre 1100. There is a small leak or a crack on the engine. I can´t see where it is so I have to take the covering parts off first. I am in guatemala and need a permanant fix. Will the putty work or should I use something else? Any suggestions?

I know people who have used the NuMetal Epoxy Putty to fix a crack in an engine. The NuMetal Epoxy Putty withstands temps up to 300°F
