July 4, 200916 yr comment_1994 Hi, Can numetal be used as filler to smooth out welds or inperfections on heads or extractors. Will it be affected by high temperatures or any type of coating system such as ceramic. July 6, 200916 yr comment_2237 What is the maximum temperature that you need the NuMetal to withstand? July 12, 200916 yr Author comment_2238 Hi, Sorry for the delay. The max temp would be 700deg/c. If it was possible, once the filler was cured would it be able to withstand sandblasting process. Thanks. July 13, 200916 yr comment_2242 NuMetal will withstands temps up to 300°F (150°C). It does not appear that NuMetal would work for your High Temperature application.
