May 31, 200817 yr comment_1701 I used the RustBlast two weeks ago but haven't been able to do the RustSeal due to the temp and humidity being higher than the application instructions on the can. Are 80 degrees and 60% humidty the absolute highest I can apply it in? What if I applied it in the evening when it's cooler? I really need to get this done but the weather isn't cooperating. June 30, 2025Jun 30 comment_9857 Yes, apply RustSeal in the evening or early morning when the temperature and humidity are at their lowest. The higher temperatures and higher humidity will cause RustSeal to cure quicker, so another thing you can do is reduce RustSeal with KBS #1 Thinner to slow the cure. If you do reduce, keep in mind that you may need an additional coat of RustSeal so you have enough cured, dry RustSeal on the surface when you are done. Always apply RustSeal in thin coats and never medium or heavy coats. Be sure to follow carefully the RustSeal Directions found HERE. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to reach back out.
