AndyThree Posted September 25, 2020 Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 I know it is recommended to use an agitator when cleaning a gas tank to help break up rust. My question is, with the 3 step process, i.e. aqua klean and the rust remover, is it a problem to use zinc coated steel BBs as the agitator? Will this cause some sort of bad chemical reaction or mess with the BBs and leave residue in the tank? Any help would be greatly appreciated. KBS Coatings Posted September 25, 2020 Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 On the KBS 3 Step Tank Sealer System, you can use zinc coated bb's as the agitator with KBS Klean as long as you feel confident that you can get all of the bb's out when the step is complete.
