KBS Coatings
DiamondFinish Clear will take 4 days to become very hard under normal conditions and will continue to harden over the following weeks. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions. jschiller
I just bought a can of the Diamond finish.. I recently purchased a 20 yr old boat and the fenders are fiberglass to match the boat. I was going to test this product on the fenders and if all goes well, maybe on the boat top surfaces. I have used a medium course sander, and a fine sanding block to remove the oxidation from the fiberglass fenders. My question is: can I just use the diamond finish clear out of the can, without mixing with a thinner? KBS Coatings
DiamondFinish Clear does NOT have to be reduced to apply. You will prep the surface, mix well, and then apply. Reducing is something that can be done to tweak the finish when that is needed. Most will apply to a test spot in an inconspicuous area to get the application process down pat. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
