MANRAD Posted October 13, 2015 Report Share Posted October 13, 2015 We get many Harley fuel tanks that have an original "grey" sealer inside. We often get tanks where some of the sealer flakes off. We've not been able to find a product that will completely remove the original sealer. Will the Gold Standard Fuel Tank Sealer bond to the original Harley sealer? For maximum adhesion and best results, we always recommend removing any previous coatings before doing the KBS 3-Step Tank Sealing Process.
