Jon1097 Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I sprayed a gallon of undercoating on the bottom of a vehicle but ran out of material before I finished. Since nobody carries this locally, I ordered another gallon to finish. My question is since it will be several days between painting, do I put a small amount of thinner over the already dried coat to get the new coat to stick? Or will it stick to a coat 3 days old by itself? Or will it not stick at all to the first coat? I was only able to do one coat and in some areas you can see through so it will need to be touched up with a second coat. Thanks. Quote
KBS Coatings Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 The intercoat adhesion between layers of UnderCoat is excellent. As long as the cured UnderCoat is clean (use KBS Klean if needed), you can apply another coat of UnderCoat and the coatings will stick together perfectly. Please let us know if that helps and answers your question. Thank you for choosing KBS Coatings! Quote
