KBS Coatings Posted August 22, 2008 Report Share Posted August 22, 2008 Hi, I was wondering if Rustblast is the correct product to use on a stone chip that has begun to rust. The stone chip is very small, but it's down to bare metal which has begun to rust. I was wondering if I could use Rustblast on the chip, then apply touch up paint. KBS Coatings Posted February 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2015 Yes, you can neutralize the rusty area with RustBlast and then apply your touch-up paint. You can also apply RustSeal and then your touch-up paint for the ultimate in rust protection. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
