November 23, 200916 yr comment_2017 Hiya, I have got air bubbles in quite a few areas of my painted floorpan. I beleive I was applying it too thickly. I presume I need to sand these areas down and re-paint? If they do need repainting then do I have to go back to metal or just until the surface is smooth and the air bubbles have been exposed? Thanks, Mike Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/1386-bubbles-in-cured-surface/ Share on other sites Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 November 23, 200916 yr comment_2289 Mike, Yep, sounds like it was applied too heavy. Just like you said, just lightly sand down the bubbles, wipe/blow off the dust and apply another thin covering coat.
