That sounds good. I can see it being a bit of work to mask off the painted area but I think I will give that a whirl. I will also need to create a "stopper" for the main fuel fill opening as the factory tank cap is vented and will leak fluid when inverted.

The specifications for the tank is 7.5 total capacity. How important is it to proportion the amount of Aqua Kleen, Rust Blast and Tank Sealer? It looks like 7.5 is approx 60% of the 12 gallons that the Large Cycle Tank Sealer kit will cover.
