Joe M
The corner of my front fender just behind the wheel is rusted/rotting (starting to crumble away). If i cut away the rusted/rotted section (about 3 inches or so) Can i use the patch to replace the part i cut away by adhering it to the part of the fender that is still good and essentially rebuilding that corner with just the patch? Essentially an approximate 3x3inch area would be just patch and the rest of the patch would be adhered to the fender. I'd plan to rustseal over that then prime and topcoat it. Is it strong enough to do that? Also, can you double up the patch? Will it adhere to itself? Sticky side to sticky side. Will that hold up over time? Any better ideas? Thanks!
