I have a gas tank from a 1998 mustang that was sitting with ethanol enhanced gasoline. It destroyed the pump, so I bought a pump, but when I got ready to put it in, I noticed that the factory coating in the tank had turned to a gummy substance. How do I strip that gummy substance out? The tank is 17 gallons.
