January 10, 201313 yr comment_1468 I recently purchased a 93 F150 that has light rust on the frame and well.. everything on the underside. I'm wondering if I can use rustseal without having to dismantle the truck. Idealy, magic gnomes would come to my house and do the work for me, but that won't happen. Instead, I'd like to find a coating solution that would allow me to keep the vehicle intact. Input? May 9, 201312 yr comment_2738 Realistically, you could wire brush any loose flaking paint and/or rust, powerwash the underside completely with KBS Klean, let it dry thoroughly. Treat any rusted areas with RustBlast and then apply a couple of coats of RustSeal and have the underside look like new. Check out the complete directions for RustSeal here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/rustseal-directions.html Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/837-93-f150/#findComment-2738 Share on other sites Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
