Nomad
I completely cleaned portion of my 57 Chevy frame. I used solvents, scrapers, hand wire brush and an angle grinder with a wire wheel. I removed all the visible contamination. I then spayed an aerosol "Universal Bonding Primer" to the frame area. Can I start by using "Clean" and proceed to "Rustblast" and Rustseal"? Is Rustseal the best product for the frame? What product do you recommend for finish coat on inside and outside metal fender liners?
KBS Coatings
Yes, please start with KBS Klean and then proceed to RustBlast and finally RustSeal. Yes, RustSeal is the best product for the frame as RustSeal prevents rust and is incredibly durable. For the fender liners, most people coat over the RustSeal with KBS UnderCoat for sound deadening and it gives a textured look that many people desire. Please be sure to review the RustSeal Directions. If you have any additional questions, please reach out.
