Some questions regarding Maxx Clear as clear coat on a guitar

Hello all!  I am building a bass guitar from scratch, and I have applied automotive primer, and then the base color coat.  The paint flashes in the normal amount of time, and the paint manufacturer instructs the user to wait at least 20 minutes after the final base coat before applying clear coat.  Obviously, that is for their clear coat product, so I would like to know if the same instructions apply to spraying Maxx Clear.  And, will the base coat cure under Maxx Clear?  If not, then should I wait for 30 days before clear coating?  Thank you for your time, and please let me know if I should be aware of anything else.
