Rust Seal

I'm getting ready to paint a wood table with Rust Seal. I was wondering if the coverage is the same for wood as it is metal? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Because wood is typically more porous than metal, you can expect to get slightly less coverage for a wooden surface. 1 gallon of RustSeal will typically put 2 coats on 200 square feet of a metal surface and 166 square feet for 2 coats on a wood surface. As always, material losses during mixing and application will vary and must be taken into consideration.
