October 16, 201411 yr comment_3063 Can I paint the exposed interior metal parts of my 67 f100 with blacktop? Things like the dash, doors and pillars? This seems like an economical diy alternative for my daily driver than having it done professionaly at a paint shop. Also a follow up question. Is there any reason I couldn't or shouldn't paint my bumper or fenders with it as well? Thanks! October 16, 201411 yr comment_3064 Yes, you can paint the exposed metal parts with BlackTop. It is always best to apply 2 coats of RustSeal to the prepped surface first, and then 1-2 coats of BlackTop. Also, the same system of KBS Klean, RustBlast, RustSeal, and BlackTop can be used on your bumpers. Check out the complete directions for BlackTop HERE. October 17, 201411 yr Author comment_3065 Thanks! If the interior is already painted and in good shape can I just scuff it and use BlackTop with out the rust seal? Update: I just found my answer a few posts down.
