Rokit5
Hi there and thanks for your help and products (also ultra fast shipping)! My question is which directions are correct. On the actual pint can of Motor Coater paint it says to apply the second coat after the first coat has dried to the point of being non-tacky. Typically (it says) this will occur within 2-4 hours depending on humidity etc etc. However the "paper" instructions says to apply within 30 mins ( would still be very tacky) or wait 7 days. Which one is correct? Thanks again!
KBS Coatings
We are very sorry for the confusion. To be on the safe side in most weather conditions, this is what we recommend in our Motor Coater directions: Do not apply Motor Coater in thick or heavy coats, as wrinkling may occur. Do not apply additional coats after 30 minutes or before previous coat has dried completely, typically 7 days. Please let us know if that helps and if you have additional questions.
