Kawasaki Concours tank

Bill, some tank designs definitely present different challenges. If you do not allow the AquaKlean & RustBlast to soak on the exterior and rinse it off with clean water if it should get on the paint, you should have no problems. We mask off previously painted tanks with plastic to help minimize the contact time.

You have the right idea in suctioning out the remaining AK & RB and any excess water. Remember to let the tank dry VERY WELL after the final rinsing, as you don't want any moisture in the tank when sealing. As for the excess sealer, do your very best to drain out any excess, then keep the tank moving every 10-15 minutes to allow the sealer you were unable to drain out to "spread out" evenly throughout the tank instead of pooling/puddling in one specific area only. In other words, it can be done...it just takes a little more patience.
