scarter3689
I have an 86 zx1000 gas tank with a kream coat in it that has holes in it. I bout another company's strip and seal kit. I used the stripper and it just softened the kream. I then bought a bottle of acetone. The acetone just softened also. I could only scape away the coat directly under the gas cap. Other than that spot it had no effect. The local radiator shop wont do it. Anyone know of a way besides these techniques to get rid of the coat that I can do myself??? Im looking to save money but Im really trying to get riding within the next two weeks!!!!
